A shimmering celebration of art and luxury, it’s a place that will charm you from the moment you step in. Eventhough this place is 25km away from the city but anyone must visit this place when in Innsbruck. 

The instant you spot the water-spouting Giant, the magical guardian of Crystal Worlds, you know you’re in for a treat. Behind this intriguing entrance lie various ‘Chambers of Wonder.’ Each one is a unique experience, created by different artists and designers using Swarovski crystals. They lead you through a sparkling kaleidoscope of art, design, and innovation, providing a feast for your eyes and imagination.

And it’s not all indoors. Venture outside to discover the expansive garden landscape with its mesmerising Crystal Cloud, composed of 800,000 hand-mounted Swarovski crystals. It’s a sight to behold, especially when it catches the sun’s rays. Nearby, the play tower and labyrinth offer younger visitors plenty of fun and excitement.

In just a few minutes, travel from the city centre to the largest nature park in Austria! The stunning 360° view, with Innsbruck on one side and the Karwendel Nature Park on the other, offers unforgettable sights.

With the modern Cable Car, you can get to Hungerburg straight from the old town in just eight minutes. You can also choose to stop at the Alpenzoo on the way. From Hermann-Buhl-Platz, named after the famous Austrian mountain climber, you can head up to the 1905m high Seegrube. Here, brave mountain climbers are a sight to see in both summer and winter. The incredible natural sights and panoramic views from the 2300m high Hafelekar viewpoint are within everyone’s reach, thanks to the direct link to the city.

7. Court Church (Hofkirche)

Innsbruck’s majestic Court Church, also known as Hofkirche, is an architectural marvel. Its remarkable interior is home to 18th-century high and side altars, as well as a 17th-century choir screen.

On your journey, don’t miss the exquisitely Baroque Helblinghaus, renowned for its remarkable stucco façade adorned with cherubs and other decorative features. Nearby stands the 16th-century inn, the Golden Eagle (Goldener Adler), once frequented by emperors and literary figures like Goethe.

The Stadtturm, a 57-metre-high medieval watchtower, is also a must-visit. Built in the 14th century along with the Old Town Hall, it offers stunning views of the Old Town.

9. Bergisel Innsbruck Skiing Jump

South of Innsbruck, the 746-metre high Bergisel Hill stands proudly, globally recognised for its first-class winter sports facilities. The highlight is the newly built Olympia ski-jump (Bergiselschanze), which replaced the previous Olympic structure, along with its spectacular tower constructed in 2003. From here, visitors can take in panoramic views over the city.

The fame of Bergisel predates the Olympics; it’s a site steeped in history, recognised for the heroic battles of 1809 when Tyrolean locals successfully liberated their capital from French and Bavarian occupiers. At the base of the ski jump on the hill’s north side, a memorial stands in honour of those brave individuals. It includes the Andreas Hofer Monument erected in 1893, a memorial chapel built in 1909, and the Tomb of the Tyrolese Kaiserjäger (Imperial Riflemen). The hill is easily accessible via the scenic Stubai Valley Railway.

Back towards the city center, near the Old Inn Bridge (Alte Innbrücke), you’ll find the lively Innsbruck Market. This spot is especially lively in December, when it transforms into a busy Christmas Market, spreading holiday cheer to the nearby Old Town streets.
